Man injured in train derailment
News

In Wayne County, a man is in the hospital after a train derailment.

It happened in Doctortown not far from Jesup along the tracks west of Highway 84.

There is no word on what caused the wreck. One of the two engines on the CSX train turned on its side while several cars came off the track.

Crews are trying to clear the area, but no traffic is being blocked. The area is said to be so remote that the injured man was driven by a private truck to a waiting ambulance on the main road.
