Appling Co. man charged with murder | News
APPLING CO., GA (WTOC)- Crofton Cannon Jr. was arrested in Appling Co. on Nov. 29 for the murder of William Wright.
The Wayne Co. Sheriff's Office and the Kingsland Office of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have been investigating the incident for four months.
Sheriff John Carter thanks his deputies, the GBI, the Georgia State Patrol, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the Appling Co. Sheriff's Office and the Jesup Police Department for their assistance.

The investigation is ongoing. More charges are expected.
